Office Pod Acoustics and Certification
Acoustic numbers are the hardest part of a pod to compare, because brands quote different standards and rarely name the test method behind the figure. These articles explain what the ratings measure and how to read them. ISO 23351-1 is the standard written specifically for enclosed furniture such as pods and booths, and Class A is its top band. PrivacyPod pods are ISO 23351-1 Class A certified, approximately 30 dB of speech level reduction. The certification guide covers the other seven, from UL 962 to GREENGUARD Gold.
