Install time
How long does it take to install an office pod?
3 to 10 hours with a crew of 2 or 3 installers, depending on the model: about 3 to 4 hours for the Arc S Pod, 4 to 6 hours for the other standard and Arc pods, and 7 to 10 hours for the ADA pods. Every pod plugs into a standard 120 V outlet, so no electrician is needed.
Every pod ships flat-packed with a step-by-step manual. An experienced facilities team can assemble the smaller models; for the L Pod, L Pod Plus and XL Pod we recommend our installation team, so the panels and door seal are aligned for the rated acoustics.

Can my own team install a pod?
Yes, for the smaller models. Every pod ships flat-packed with a step-by-step manual, and a one-person booth is a quick two-person job. For the L Pod, L Pod Plus and XL Pod we recommend our installation team, because a trained crew aligns the panels and door seal so the pod reaches its rated acoustics. Install videos are available on request.
What does professional installation cost?
Professional installation starts at $900 for the Arc S Pod and runs to $3,000 for the XL ADA Pod, depending on the model and the site. Our installation team assembles, places and levels the pod, tests every system and clears the packaging, with the COI coordinated before delivery day.
What do I need to prepare before delivery?
A clear path to the spot and a standard 120 V outlet near it. Pods arrive crated and flat-packed by LTL freight: the S Pod through the L Pod in one crate, the L Pod Plus and XL Pod in two. We confirm crate sizes before shipping so you can check docks, freight elevators and hallways, and we can arrange liftgate or inside delivery.
How much ceiling height does a pod need?
Standard pods are 91.6 inches tall, Arc pods 86.9 inches and ADA pods 90.5 inches. Leave 4 to 6 inches above the pod for ventilation. If the ceiling is tight, the Arc pods are the lowest.
Do I need a permit or sprinklers?
Usually no permit: pods are freestanding furniture that plug into a standard outlet, with no walls cut and no wiring run. Sprinkler rules come from your building or fire marshal and usually apply to the larger pods, so ask before you order. We can spec a sprinkler drop-through or a self-contained suppression unit on the quote.
