Our story
It started with a call nobody asked to hear.
Tyler Robarge was in a college study room in 2021 when the person beside him took a call at full volume. No headphones. Within five minutes, thirty people knew his name, his major, and how his midterm went. Nobody wanted to. Nobody had anywhere to go.

The problem
Open offices made the same trade everywhere: walls out, collaboration in, privacy gone. Putting a room back means a contractor, a permit, and weeks of a closed floor.
The fix
A real, quiet room you roll in and plug in. Certified acoustics, no construction, delivered in weeks. Today those pods sit in law offices, libraries, corporate headquarters, and coworking floors across the country, and the reaction is always the same: why didn't we have this sooner?

2021
The first pods, under a different name.
By that fall we were selling office pods under a different e-commerce brand, one or two at a time. The lesson came fast: buyers wanted a high-end pod at a fair price, and the dealer markup was the only thing in the way.

2022
PrivacyPod is founded.
PrivacyPod launched in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on one rule: sell factory-direct. No distributor, no dealer, no markup stacked on a certified high-end pod. One published price.

2023
Quick-Ship.
The first Quick-Ship inventory landed in a US warehouse. Standard configurations started shipping in 1 to 2 weeks, freight included, instead of waiting on a factory run.

2024
The 1,000th pod.
The thousandth pod went in. The lineup grew to 14 models, from a one-person phone booth to a six-seat room, with showrooms in Eau Claire, Charlotte, and Richmond.
