The Solo Wing Chair
Two wings, one corner.
Head down, plugged in.
Tall sound-absorbing wing panels on both sides soften nearby chatter and shield sightlines, with a swing-in tablet arm and a US outlet on the side panel.
Up close
Wings, a tablet, an outlet.

A corner on any open floor
Solid upholstered panels rise on both sides of the seat and meet a high back: high-density foam on a wooden structure. Side-on, passers-by see fabric instead of your screen, and nearby talk arrives softened. The base is a closed plinth.

Swing a desk in when you need one
The tablet arm pivots from the top of the side panel and swings across the seat to hold a laptop in front of you; swing it back out to sit with a book. The top is a 1 in black board with a sealed edge; a white top is available on request.

Plug in without leaving the seat
The outlet is on the front of the side panel, under the tablet arm, so a laptop or phone charges beside you while you work. One cord runs from the chair to a standard 120 V wall outlet, so there is no hardwiring and no electrician to book.

Calmer corners, no walls built.
Waiting, without the audience.
High backs turn a lobby bench into a row of private seats: visitors take a call or read without feeling watched.

FAQ
Questions about the Solo Wing Chair.
Acoustics, lead time, fabrics, and assembly.
Is the Solo Wing Chair soundproof?
No. A wingback office chair is open at the front with no door, so it does not seal sound in or out. Its solid wing panels and high back, high-density foam under fabric, soften nearby chatter and shield sightlines. A sealed room with a door is what the office pods are for.
Can I charge a laptop in it?
Yes. It is a lounge chair with power: one US outlet sits in the front of the side panel under the tablet arm, within reach of the seat. The chair's cord plugs into a standard 120 V wall outlet; no electrician is needed.
Which fabrics and colors can I choose?
Gabriel Miles and Gabriel Medley upholstery in 10 colorways. Pick one on this page; the wings, back, seat and base all come in that single fabric, and the tablet arm keeps its black top.
How long do delivery and setup take?
Made to order in 9 to 11 weeks. Shipping is free on every order. Assembly takes under 30 minutes with no construction and no electrician. Purchase orders and business financing are available, and the standard PrivacyPod warranty applies.
Where does the Solo Wing Chair work best?
Lobbies and reception areas first: a visitor waits with a laptop open and a charger plugged in. Then libraries, healthcare waiting areas, coworking floors and the hour between meetings, where a lounge chair with tablet arm gives one person a work surface and an outlet without a desk.
