What happens if I miss my scheduled delivery?

Life happens—if the freight truck arrives and no one is available to receive your PrivacyPod, the carrier will leave a notice and take the crate back to the local terminal. Here’s how the process works and what you can do:

Redelivery call – The carrier will contact you (or we can on your behalf) to set a new appointment, usually within 24–48 hours.

Storage fees – Terminals give a short grace period, but holding the crate longer than 48 hours can incur daily storage charges and a redelivery fee.

Avoiding added costs – If the new date won’t work, ask us to re‑route to another nearby location or upgrade to inside delivery/installation. Our logistics team will negotiate the lowest possible surcharge.

Pro tips – Confirm the delivery window, have backup team members on call, and keep an eye on tracking updates so you can alert us early if a conflict pops up.

If you think you might miss your slot, email info@privacypod.ai or call 715‑600‑6301 as soon as possible—we can usually reschedule before the truck leaves the terminal and help you avoid extra fees.
