The Solo Work Nook
Wrapped on three sides.
Focus on an open floor.
Tall sound-absorbing panels soften nearby chatter and shield your screen, and a fixed shelf at 29.5 inches holds up to a 16-inch laptop.
Up close
Three sides and a shelf.

Tall panels on three sides
The back panel and both wings rise to one height and run the full depth of the seat, so the cover reaches past your shoulders on both sides. Nearby chatter softens and your screen faces nobody but you.
47.2 IN TALL · THREE SIDES · HIGH-DENSITY FOAM
A desk-height shelf beside the seat
The fixed shelf sits at 29.5 inches, desk height above a 16.9-inch seat, and takes up to a 16-inch laptop. A discreet pass-through in the shelf drops the charging cable out of sight, so the surface stays clear for the work.

Four slim legs, clear floor
Four slim legs on a white powder-coated metal base lift the seat and panels clear of the floor, so a vacuum passes under it and the whole piece reads lighter than its height. It takes 43.5 by 33.5 inches of floor.

Calmer corners, no walls built.
Waiting, without the audience.
High backs turn a lobby bench into a row of private seats: visitors take a call or read without feeling watched.

FAQ
Questions about the Solo Work Nook.
Acoustics, lead time, fabrics, and assembly.
Is it soundproof?
No. The Solo Work Nook is open furniture with no door and no ceiling, so it is not soundproof. It is an acoustic office chair, not a room: tall sound-absorbing panels soften nearby chatter and shield sightlines, enough for heads-down work and routine calls. A sealed room with a door is what the office pods are for.
Does it have power?
Not built in. The shelf has a discreet cable pass-through, so a laptop charger runs down to a floor or wall outlet without draping across the seat. If you want an outlet inside the nook, ask our team to add an optional power strip when you order. Nothing needs wiring, so there is no electrician to book.
Which fabrics and colorways can I choose?
Gabriel Miles and Gabriel Medley, in 10 colorways. One fabric covers the outside, the channel-quilted inside and the seat cushion, so the color reads as a single block from across the room. Choose the colorway when you order.
How long does delivery take, and what does setup involve?
Lead time is 9 to 11 weeks, made to order in your fabric. Shipping is free on every order. Setup takes under 30 minutes: no construction and no electrician. Purchase orders and business financing are available, and the piece is covered by the standard PrivacyPod warranty.
Where does the Solo Work Nook work best?
Hot-desk floors, library reading rooms as a study carrel, tele-counseling corners, wellness rooms and coworking lounges: anywhere one person needs an hour of focus or a call without booking a room. It is a privacy chair first, so put it where the traffic is and face the open side away from it.
