S Pod

We run an open coworking space and private calls were always one of the harder things to accommodate. We added six S Pods and they've been a great fit. Members are in them constantly for calls, Zoom meetings and anything where they need a little quiet. We went with three different interior colors, so people have naturally started referring to them as the blue, yellow or green pods. We also did the wood-grain accent tables, which was a nice custom touch. They've given us the privacy we were missing without taking away from the open feel of the space.

We ordered the M and S together in black/lime. Managers use the M for check-ins, sales grabs the S for solo calls. The colors look much better in person and the pair feels like it belongs in the office.

We bought two S Pods and furnished them ourselves. One has a compact bench and side table and is basically our phone-call booth. The other is set up for podcast recording with a very small desk, mic arm and just enough surface space for a laptop. I would not try to squeeze full-size office furniture into an S Pod, but for these two specific setups the footprint works really well.

I was worried the one person size would feel cramped once a laptop was open. The L shaped table fixed that for me. I keep the laptop straight ahead, notebook on the side, phone charging in the corner, and there is still a place for coffee. We use this pod mostly for recruiting calls, but I have spent a couple of two hour work blocks in it too and never felt like I was working off a shelf. If you plan to do more than short calls, I would pick this table again.
